Ladies and gents, we have a bonifide celebrity in our midst. Hans Reimer has an entry on Wikipedia...
Just think, all that fame earned him "nearly 40% of the vote against a popular and established oponnent."
With the exception of Ike Leggett, a search of Wikipedia failed to turn up similar entries for county officials.

O’Malley fulfills a campaign pledge…
…and puts the breaks on the purple line. The delay no doubt will be used to beef up ridership numbers for the red line extension and corridor cities transitway, which together would cost less, serve more people who currently commute by car, and destroy fewer trees than the proposed purple line.
In other news, Rock the Vote political director and County Council wannabe Hans Reimer has found work with the Action Committee for Transit. If he’s as successful with the purple line as he was at getting Al Gore or himself elected, the Chevy Chase and Sligo neighborhoods should sleep soundly at night. On the bright side, transit will be a lot hipper with the slackers and cute chicks…

State house wannabes don’t fade away…
...they end working at the County Council.
Duchy Trachtenberg (D, at-large) has hired Dana Beyer, former candidate for Delegate in District 18. Up until 2003, Dr. Beyer lived her life as a man named Wayne, according to a Post article that ran before the primary. Dr. Beyer advises Duchy on health and education issues.
Not to be outdone, Roger Berliner (D, district 1) has hired Reggie Oldak as his top aide. A contibuting supporter of Steve Silverman's, Ms. Oldak ran for a delegate seat in District 16. Ms. Oldak made waves by specifically targeting ailing Delegate Marilyn Goldwater in her attempt to break up the slate of incumbents led by Senator Brian Frosh ...
